Rev. Sabrina Ingram was baptized as an infant in The Presbyterian Church in Canada and attended church throughout her life. Her relationship with Jesus gained a personalized depth at age 14, when she also sensed a call to ministry. Sabrina believes Christ’s first call to us is to love in wholesome, life-giving ways and that a healthy Church laughs, grows and serves. Contemplative by nature Sabrina has a passion for prayer and spirituality. Her love for Jesus continues to expand.
Sabrina was raised in Toronto and obtained a B.A. from York University (1979) and an Master of Divinity from Knox College (1983). She has served in the pastoral charge of Dutton, Ontario; as the Chaplain at the University of Western Ontario; as Interim Minister in the North Caradoc, Ontario pastoral charge and as the Associate Minister of Spiritual Formation at Oakridge (London, Ontario). She joined St. Stephen’s in 2009.
Sabrina has done her continuing education through CAPPE, Waterloo Lutheran Seminary and the Pacific Jubilee Program in Spiritual Direction (VST) where Sabrina was subsequently on staff for 10 years. She is the author of “Teach us to Pray” an on-line course on prayer, has led numerous workshops on Christian Spirituality and has had the honour of serving as a Spiritual Director and/or Pastoral Counsellor to many amazing people.
Sabrina is the mother of two young adults, Dylan and Sarah Caldwell. She enjoys reading, gardening, travelling, entertaining and writing. Sabrina lives with her husband Terry, who is also a minister; they have been extremely blessed with a home on the water where they boat, swim, fish, kayak, watch the waves and enjoy God’s creatures.
